Is Feedogs a scam?
Here's what you need to know.
Maybe you landed on this page because someone close to you told you about us, or simply because you like to check before you buy. Good habit. Here's everything you need to know about Feedogs, straight up.
A small French team based in Mauritius
Feedogs is a French couple who moved to Mauritius in 2025. Two people who saw the reality of abandoned dogs on this island and decided to act. Behind the brand, the Feedogs Association, an officially registered organization RNA W751284718, funds the work on the ground.
We didn't invent this model. A charity bracelet that funds a cause is a model that works, but sadly it has also been misused by some. It's happened in France too, with bracelets similar to ours.
That's why we do things differently. That's why we created our own association in France. And that's why we publish a monthly DogsLetter with the real numbers for the month.
Of course, part of the revenue goes to advertising. But that's exactly how we reach hundreds of thousands of people every month. Without ads, we'd barely reach 200.
Our ambition is much bigger than running a small association that hands out €5,000 a month. We want real impact for these pups. And the system works. Look at our numbers every month: meals funded just keep going up. That's what we choose: reaching more and more people, over time.
In Mauritius, between 200,000 and 300,000 dogs roam the streets. Abandoned, hungry, ignored. There's no large organized structure for them. Too small, too far away, not enough media attention. So we did what we could with what we had, and every day we keep aiming higher.
Thanks to you, our community, we can feed more and more dogs, go further, and keep pushing our growth. Gratte-Gratte, Luna, Bandit, dogs we've known for months, who now eat out of our hands after weeks of patience. That kind of trust can't be faked with a camera and a good script. You're the ones who make it possible.
We don't just feed them.
We take time for them.
1 bracelet purchased = 10 meals funded on the ground in Mauritius, through the Feedogs Association.
Stormy. One of the very first pups we fed.
Before
After
We came across him by chance, on our scooter, next to an illegal dump.
He was alone, his coat in bad shape. He made himself small, but you could tell he wanted to come closer. Every sound made him jump.
Today, he runs to us the second he hears us coming. He jumps all over us for scratches. His coat looks nothing like before. He trusts people again, and that's thanks to you.
Why 10 meals?
It's an average, not a number measured to the gram, and that's on purpose: we'd rather tell you the truth than give you an artificially precise number.
We buy what we can find on the island at the best price: rice, chicken, kibble, depending on the brands available and current prices. Some weeks it's a little more, some weeks a little less.
What doesn't change: the number of bracelets sold is published every month, no exceptions, in the DogsLetter, with photos and videos. You can follow the same pups week after week and see how they're doing. You'll also see the new dogs we meet and our new goals.
The Feedogs Association, in short
The Feedogs Association is officially registered under number RNA W751284718, as a French "loi 1901" nonprofit. As a loi 1901 association, we're required to file a public annual report every year.
Our directors are unpaid. Every euro goes to the mission.
The purpose of the Feedogs Association is to support stray animals, especially dogs, in Mauritius and in any other place where it sees a need to step in, including:
- ●Funding their daily food
- ●Funding spay/neuter campaigns
- ●Creating and funding shelters or temporary refuges
- ●Financial or material support for local partner associations
- ●Any other action related to the protection and well-being of stray animals
You can verify that it exists directly on the official French government website.

They checked for themselves.
Sophie didn't know us. She came across one of our photos while scrolling, and she searched, doubted, dug deeper. Then she wrote about what she found, before the association was even officially created.
Follow the field, live.
We post every outing, every dog, every bowl. No corporate messaging, just the reality on the ground, filmed by us, every night in Mauritius.
If you came here with doubts,
now you have the proof.
Stormy. Gratte-Gratte. Bandit. La Mama. They're real. They're counting on you.
